Biotique Bio Almond Soothing & Nourishing Eye Cream

Dark circles, tiredness of eyes and fine lines!!! Aren’t these words pretty common and makes rounds inside our mind almost every day when we look ourselves in mirrors?? I’m sure you know what I am talking about. Yes !! these are the problem areas we always want to get rid off.

Who doesn’t want to flaunt bright and sparkly eyes every day.... we all want to. Due to my job, which is like sitting in front of the computer almost 10+ hours every day, I always thought of giving myself a good eye regime every night. Somehow I inculcated this regime long time back. Sharing my experience and review now as I have started blogging few months back.

Today I will introduce you all to a very simple, basic and pocket friendly under eye cream. The Boutique’s Bio Almond Soothing and Nourishing Eye Cream.  Since I like my skin products to be botanical and thus Biotique was my first choice to lay my hands on. I don’t have much puffiness or fine lines around my eyes but I do have medium dark circles due to the stress and sometimes lack of sleep.

My Experience with Biotique Bio Almond Soothing & Nourishing Eye Cream

Packaging

This comes in a plastic tub containing 15 grams (0.53 Oz) cream. Has a screw cap and the tub has a plastic lid. Its quite handy and travel friendly.

Product Claims:

This luxurious eye cream lightens and brightens eye contours. Smoothens away dry lines, dark circles and puffiness. The ingredients mentioned are : Sunflower Oil (Helianthus annuus), Almond Oil (Prunes amygdalus), Quince Seed Oil (Pyres cydonia), Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) and Honey Bee Wax ( Sikta tail).

The Positives:

1)  As the product claims, to smoothen away the dark circles, lines and puffiness. I am kind
a satisfied what it did for my dark circles. They get smoothened and lightened after
regular use. I generally use it as a night time under eye cream and apply it in tapping
motion all around my eyes (under eye and eye lids and sides).

2) It has a herbal smell.

3) Very rich creamy texture ideal for night skin care regime. It moisturizes well and
lightens  the eye area.

4) This cream can be used by young skin of 20+ years aged also as it takes care of the
dark circles.

5) Ideal for dry skin.

The Nagatives:

Few things which I didn’t like about this cream are :

1) The Sturdy Plastic tub has a hygiene issue as every time we have to dig in to get the
cream out. This same cream used to come in a tube (if i remember correctly about 15
years back). But Biotique has replaced the tube with this tub.

2) In-case the cream gets into the eye while applying, it hurts badly. Well I think, any
cream in that matter hurts badly if it gets into our eyes.

3) I somehow don’t like the aroma of this cream. I don’t know why Biotique products are
made with such aroma which can be milder or neutral.

4) It is very oily and creamy ideal for night use only, doesn't get absorbed. So please
keep it aside for day use.

5) Not sure if this cream is going to work on fine lines and puffiness around their eyes

I only recommend Bio Almond Eye Cream to those young girls and females who just need a basic eye cream for daily use as its pocket friendly and gets the basic job done for bright and lighten the dark circles. For mature skin of 33+ age, if you suffer from medium dark circles, then this product will work for you. But can’t guarantee that it will work for fine lines and puffiness. If you can invest more, there are many other good under eye creams/gels in the market to choose from.

Surprisingly the Positives and Negatives are almost equal and neutralises the score. If you are in you early 20s, then this cream will surely work for you. Remember that, for getting a healthy skin, we need to have a healthy diet. What we eat and gets inside us, shows outside.
